Water Softening Systems
Water softening systems remove calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions, which cause hardness in water. Water softening systems remove calcium and magnesium ions from water using the ion exchange principle.
TIME-CONTROLLED SYSTEMS
Time-controlled water softening systems remove calcium and magnesium ions from water using the ion exchange principle. Time-controlled water softening systems automatically perform regeneration processes at the desired time and day of the week, without any intervention. Saturated resin undergoes a time-controlled regeneration with salt water, removing calcium and magnesium ions.
FLOW-CONTROLLED SYSTEMS
Flow-controlled water softening systems measure the amount of water passing through an on-board meter and subject it to a pre-programmed backwash process. The control group is connected to a water meter. The amount of water the resin can soften is defined as the control group. When a predetermined amount of water passes through the tank, the device receives a signal to begin regeneration and is cleaned of calcium and magnesium ions by regenerating it with salt water.
SURFACE PIPE SYSTEMS
Surface Pipe Single, Tandem, and Triplex water softening systems remove calcium and magnesium ions from the water using the ion exchange principle. Equipped with PLC automation control systems, these systems consist of two or more softening units. The system is controlled by electric or pneumatic actuated valves and a PLC automation unit. Volumetric control can be performed according to the amount of water passing through. In Surface Pipe Tandem and Triplex systems, each softening unit enters the regeneration cycle in turn and, when ready, waits for the other unit in the process to become saturated and transfer the process to itself. This allows for continuous soft water production 24 hours a day, without the need for human intervention and without interruption of the process for regeneration.
TANDEM SYSTEMS
Tandem water softening systems are equipped with fully automatic control systems and consist of two softening units. The system can be volumetrically controlled based on the amount of water flowing through it. In a TANDEM system, each softening device enters the regeneration cycle in turn and, once ready, waits for the process unit to become saturated and transfer the process to itself. This allows for continuous soft water production 24/7, without the need for human intervention and without interruption of the process for regeneration.
